I started asciiZer0 to make software the way I always wanted to: finished, honest about what it does, and sold directly to the person using it.

That's the long game. The near game is contracting and consulting for small businesses around Greater Cincinnati — which turns out not to be a compromise at all. It keeps me close to real problems, on real deadlines, for people who notice immediately whether a thing works.

There's no sales team here, no account manager, no discovery phase that bills. You email, I answer. If I'm not the right fit I'll say that too, and probably point you somewhere better.

Small is the point. It's why the work stays careful.
